This course consists of 6 short lectures introducing a subject of photometric lights in various rendering software. We will start by defining a photorealistic lighting scenario for a 3d scene and choose proper instruments for its realization. We will create custom photometric lights for our projects with Real IES and use them inside different render engines to achieve photorealistic and artistic results with different technologies – real-time (Unreal Engine), CPU-based (V-Ray and Corona Renderer) renderers and physically-based raytracers (Maxwell Render and ART Renderer).
ABOUT THE COURSE INSTRUCTOR
The course is narrated by Luca Deriu from PlaySys, Italy.
Luca has long and international proven experience in lecturing about 3D visualizations and videogame development.
